Think about how you found your CPA, barber, esthetician, landscaper, etc. Word-of-mouth is the most effective form of marketing and it costs $0 to leverage. Who are the people you know who have great character, are honest, dedicate, relentless & trustworthy? Who's credibility can we leverage? Who are the people you'd be proud to have on your team and agency?

Who are the people that can learn, take advantage and benefit from learning the concepts of financial literacy and those who could become a credible referral source? This is your opportunity to create an effective referral network.

Let ETHOR be your guide when you're trying to find the right words. What's ETHOR? It stands for Excited, Training, Help, Opinion, Referrals. So when reaching out or having a conversation with others your conversation can go something like this:
I'm EXCITED about this new endeavor/opportunity and so far what I've learned has had tremendous value and impact. I'm in my TRAINING phase and in the process of my certification and I could use your HELP with getting the butterflies out. I value your OPINION and I want to get your feedback about what I'm doing so you can send me some REFERRALS in the future! Could you help me out?
Text messages are a great way to generate activity and market your business. One effective strategy is the 3-way text message that you and your trainer can send out. It's a nonchalant way to get the ball rolling. Feel free to copy and paste.
